pF soil water potential sensor
The pF sensor measures the pF value of the soil according to the principle of heat capacity. The pF value is the absolute value of the soil water potential and the logarithm. The calculation formula is: pF = log(-hPa). The sensor contains a heat capacity probe, which calculates the water potential of the soil by calculating the heat capacity of the ceramic head, so that the sensor can accurately measure the water potential of the soil in extremely dry and high salinity environments.
