6527 Water level and velocity sensor
The 6527 water level velocity sensor is used to measure the velocity, depth and temperature of water in rivers, streams, open channels and large pipes. When the supporting data recording system is used together, the flow and total flow can also be calculated.
The 6527 water level velocity sensor uses ultrasonic Doppler principle to measure the water flow velocity. The sensor transmits ultrasonic energy to the water. The suspended sediment particles or small bubbles in the water will reflect part of the ultrasonic energy. The ultrasonic receiver of the sensor receives these ultrasonic signals and processes them. Receive the signal and calculate the water velocity. The 6527 also uses an ultrasonic depth sensor to measure the water level, to avoid the traditional pressure sensor from being damaged by debris and icing in the water.
