clad rack warehouse
is a structural system in which the storage racking serves as the primary load-bearing framework. In addition to supporting side panels, roof cladding, and external loads such as wind forces, the racking itself carries the weight of the stored goods. As a result, compared to conventional construction methods, rack-supported buildings require significantly less civil engineering work, streamlining installation and reducing overall costs.
Multi-rack warehouses can accommodate a wide range of storage configurations — from traditional pallet racking and drive-in/drive-through systems to fully automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS).
