Radio Shuttle Racking
Maximize selectivity and boost operational efficiency with — a semi-automated, high-density storage system designed to optimize warehouse space utilization. Pallet shuttles, controlled effortlessly via emote, transport stored goods and execute loading or unloading operations within storage lanes. Forklifts (such as reach trucks or counterbalance forklifts) place pallets at the entrance of the aisle, where the shuttle takes over and positions them deep inside the lane.
Compared to other high-density storage systems like drive-in racking, radio shuttle racking significantly increases storage capacity, accelerates the flow of inbound and outbound goods, and supports a higher volume of stored products. For operations seeking full automation, the system can be integrated with stacker cranes or transfer cars for seamless, hands-free material handling.
