Performance and use

Reverse osmosis flocculant STD-403 is a high-efficiency liquid flocculant, mainly used in reverse osmosis pretreatment system; added to the front end of the multi-media filter, it has a significant effect on reducing the SDI value of reverse osmosis influent, especially for surface water with high organic matter content.
It is suitable for a wide range of pH values in water, has a fast coagulation speed, has a large and solid coagulation density, and has good sedimentation properties.
STD membrane flocculant can increase the solid-liquid separation speed and extend the filter working cycle during direct filtration.
Miscible with water in any proportion.

Technical indicators

How to use

STD-403 must be added at the front end of the multi-media filter to achieve flocculation and sedimentation.
The product works better in water with high pH value; the product has no special requirements for dosing system and materials.

Dosage Instructions

Usually the dilution ratio is required to be less than 10 times, or the reverse osmosis flocculant is added in the original solution. This depends on the configuration of the dosing system. Before dosing, please consult with STD technicians.
The technicians recommend the appropriate dosage according to the water quality and process characteristics, and obtain better results through on-site debugging. The general dosage is 3-9ppm.
The addition point of the agent should be selected far away from the filter inlet (5.0-7.0 meters), and the injection point should be selected in the center of the water flow pipe, so as to ensure uniform mixing of the agent when the water is turbulent.

Packaging and storage

Packaged in plastic barrels, 25kg or 20kg/barrel.

The physical and chemical properties of STD membrane flocculant are stable. It can be stored in a cool place with a storage period of 1 year.

Safety and protection

STD-403 is weakly acidic. Pay attention to labor protection during operation to avoid contact between the flocculant and skin, eyes, etc. Rinse with plenty of water after contact.
