Hydroxyethyl Methyl Cellulose (MHEC)
, MHEC is made from highly pure cotton-cellulose by reaction of etherification under alkaline conditions without any organs of animals, fat and other bioactive constituents.
It could be soluble in water to form a transparent solution and widely used in construction and building material, dry mix mortar industry. Like tile grouts, tile adhesive, white cement/gypsum based wall putty, decorative plaster as thickening agent for retaining water and improving constructability.
