Magnesium chloride is a chloride, typical of ionic halides, deliquing, bitter, corrosive. At high temperatures it decomposes into hydrogen chloride and magnesium oxide
Application:
2, Chemical industry: mainly used in the production of various magnesium salts, such as magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, firecrackers solid primer, also used as raw materials for antifreeze.
3, Building materials: with magnesite (MgO) made of hard corrosion resistant magnesia cement, can be made into artificial marble, clay tile, floor, ceiling, decorative board, fire board, greenhouse support, partition board, magnesite manhole cover, bathtub, door and window frame and mobile houses.
4, Machinery industry: in daily life, the use of magnesite can be made into mechanical packing boxes, triangle cushion edges and furniture, etc., is a good material for "soil instead of material".
5, Food industry: Tofu made of brine (magnesium chloride aqueous solution) is more tender and tasty than tofu made of gypsum, and is also used as an additive for some foods.
