Recombinant carboxypeptidase b（with His Tag） is a lyophilized powder that is isolated and purified from recombinant Pichia pastoris and then freeze-dried, and has the same enzyme activity and specificity as natural carboxypeptidase B.

Carboxypeptidase Aand BRecommended Method
Protein preparation: The protein was dissolved in a solution of 25 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.6.
Enzyme preparation: The desired enzyme powder was weighed and dissolved in 25 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.6) to give an enzyme solution concentration of 1~10 mg/ml.
Reaction recommended enzyme amount: target protein (mass ratio) = 1:50 ~ 1:1000, optimum pH is 7.0~9.0.
Carboxypeptidase B Transport and Storage Stability
Transportation stability: It is transported in an ice pack to keep it active.
Storage stability: The lyophilized powder can be stored for at least 24 months at -15°C below.
25 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.6) was dissolved and stored at -15°C below, and repeatedly frozen and thawed 10 times without loss of activity.
It is recommended not to exceed 7 days after storage at 2~8°C, and no more than 30 days for -15°C below.

Activity is competitively inhibited by arginine and lysine, and metal ion chelating agents such as EDTA also inhibit enzyme activity.
The product is hygroscopic and should be taken after equilibration at room temperature.
