Precautions related to use of Tansy Essential Oil
Even though this oil is effective against many problems, if not used correctly, it may cause a few of its own. Blue tansy being an essential oil, should never be used directly as it is very strong. It must always be diluted with a carrier oil such as sweet almond or coconut oil. It must always be used in a concentration lower than 5%. 2%-3% is considered as the optimal range. Secondly, blue tansy oil can hinder or interfere with other medications. Hence, it is advisable to consult your doctor before using this oil.
