Lithium Molecular Sieve


Lithium molecular sieve is high-performance lithium exchanged low silica form of the X-type zeolite with exceptional nitrogen capacity to provide optimal performance in the separation of oxygen from the air in medical oxygen concentrators. The molecular sieve material is developed and designed for the production of up to 95% oxygen-rich airstreams in medical oxygen concentrators with air flows up to 10 liters per minute. There are three mechanisms of adsorption separation: steric hindrance effect, kinetic effect, and equilibrium effect.

Lithium molecular sieve can be used in chemical industry and health care industry.In order to meet the current high requirements of oxygen therapy and reduce disadvantages, zeolite molecular sieve is used in clinic as a new type of medical oxygen chip. Generally speaking, medical molecular sieve oxygen production equipment uses air as raw material, while zeolite molecular sieve (ZMS) is used as adsorbent to produce oxygen by pressure swing adsorption (PSA). The oxygen concentration is usually 93 ±3%.

At present, there are mainly two kinds of zeolite oxygen sieveused in oxygen concentrators in the market: sodium type and lithium type.
