Types of Fiber Optic Terminal Boxes
The optical terminal box is also called fiber termination box, and many engineering companies also call it fiber access terminal box or OFC termination box. It is a box for protecting the optical cable and pigtail fusion at the terminal of the optical cable. It is mainly used for the straight-through force connection and branch connection of the indoor optical cable and the fixing of the optical terminal cable. OFC termination boxes can be divided into different types according to different methods. Function of Fiber Optic Terminal Box
The function of the optical fiber terminal box is to provide the fusion splicing of optical fibers and optical fibers, the fusion splicing of optical fibers and pigtails, and the handover of optical connectors. ③Adjustment function: Plug the connector attached on the pigtail cable to the adapter, and realize the optical path docking with the optical connector on the other side of the adapter. Adapters and connectors should be able to be plugged and unplugged flexibly; optical paths can be freely deployed and tested.
