Industrial microcrystalline wax has a wide range of applications, primarily due to its high melting point, good toughness, strong adhesion, and moisture- and corrosion-resistant properties. Its core industrial applications are concentrated in the rubber, coatings and inks, packaging and protection, foundry, and electronics and electrical sectors.
Hot-Melt Adhesives and Bonding: Due to its excellent bonding properties and crystallization-modifying effects, microcrystalline wax is often used as a key component in hot-melt adhesives, bonding agents, and composite coatings.
Moisture- and Corrosion-Resistant Coatings: Widely used in packaging impregnation and for coating paper and cardboard, it provides protection against moisture, water, and oil.
