PAYMENT TERMINAL
A smart payment terminal, also known as a point of sale (POS) terminal, credit card terminal, or POS terminal, is a device that interfaces with payment cards to make electronic funds transfers. The terminal typically consists of a secure keypad (called a PINPAD) for entering the PIN, a screen, a means of capturing information from payments cards and a network connection to access the payment network for authorization. Currently, it is very widely used in some public places for automatic payment terminalfor mobile recharge payments,water&electricity bill payments, traffic FINE payments, etc.
HOW DO I SET UP A PAYMENT TERMINAL?
The payment terminal in the kioskindustry especially means ''a kind of touch screen kiosk with a steel cabinet, touch monitor, separate computer host and some optional accessories for payment character''. Sometimes, the machines come with a cash or coin acceptor as a payment method, and a bank card reader too. These modules are all designed and installed on the kiosks as required. Clients will connect the machine with the local power supply and then it starts to work. But first of all, the client-side will need to develop the application software to realize its function.
