A Black Iron union tail is a detachable fitting used for accessory replacement. It’s part of a union and typically consists of a male tail, a female head, and a union nut. These components allow for easy disassembly and reassembly. They’re commonly used in plumbing and pipework applications for water, oil, gas, and petro-chemical systems.
The material used for these union tails is often malleable cast iron, which ensures high mechanical properties. The best mechanical properties of the material are KTH330-08 malleable cast iron. All standards exceed international regulations.

We use an electric furnace for melting, and its stability can ensure 100% qualified material. After casting, the pipe fittings black are specially kept at a temperature of 95 °C, i.e., slow and uniform cooling occurs. This leads to a decrease in internal stresses and an increase in tensile strength, so pipe fittings are not prone to breakage. The pipe thus obtains better plasticity and can be used in high pressure and high temperature environments.
