Powder coating additive high quality micronized wax
The primary functions of micro-wax in powder coatings:
Mechanism: During baking and curing, wax particles migrate to the coating surface, forming a thin, dense protective layer. This wax film possesses a low coefficient of friction and excellent lubricity, effectively reducing surface scratches and wear.
Applications: Widely employed in sectors demanding high surface durability, such as household appliances (e.g., refrigerator and washing machine panels), aluminium extrusions, outdoor furniture, and automotive components.
Mechanism: Wax particles suspended on the surface render the coating smoother, not only reducing friction but also imparting a refined, silky-smooth tactile quality.

Mechanism: Micronised wax forms a micro-irregular ‘orange peel’ texture on the coating surface or provides physical separation. This reduces direct contact areas between coatings or between coatings and other surfaces, preventing adhesion during stacking or transportation.
