YJQ-W5 is a standard adjustable hand crimp tool designed for the crimping of wires and contacts in electronic connectors.
GENERAL INFORMATION
YJQ-W5 is compatible with the M22520/5-01 which is widely used for crimping all kinds of ferrules, coaxial connectors, contacts, coalitions and wire terminal blocks. Interchangeable dies can be installed and fixed in a proper position with pins. If your application requirement is not already covered by one of our standard dies, our engineering department will be pleased to discuss a design to suit your needs.

YJQ-W5 is compatible with the M22520/5-01 which is widely used for crimping all kinds of ferrules, coaxial connectors, contacts, coalitions and wire terminal blocks. DIE INSTRUCTIONS
- Die installing
lAim the two half of die rail slots at the die rail and push shank of dies into holes.
lClose tool handle to ensure the dies are properly installed.
- Die removal
lKeep the handle of crimp tool in open position, place the die removal tool at the end of knockout pin and tap gently with small hammer. The die will be released from the front end of die holder. Then it can be removed by hand.
lClose the handle crimp tool, slide the die removal tool between die and tool body. Then open the handle with fast motion, the die will be release and can be removed by hand.
(Note: Die removal tool part number HX3-82 is furnished with crimp tool. If die removal tool is not available, a rod approximately 3/16’’ diameter X 13/4’’ long may be used.)
GAGING INSTRUCTIONS
l“GO” Gaging: keep the tool in fully closed position, insert the green “GO” gage end into the die cavity, it should be easy to enter, otherwise, the selector gear is incorrect.
(CAUTION! DO NOT CRIMP GAGE!)
l“NO GO” Gaging: keep the tool in fully closed position, insert the red “NO GO” end into the die cavity, it can’t pass through completely, otherwise, the selector gear is incorrect.

CAUTIONS
- Keep the crimping tool and other units clean and properly stored when not in use or no operator maintenance.
- Don’t try to immerse tools in cleaning solution or spray oil into tools to lubricate.
- If finding anomalies due to the incorrect ways, don’t attempt to disassemble tools or make repairs. Please stop using it and connect us as soon as possible, our company will offer complete refurbishing and recalibration services.
