Laying of wire in a spiral pattern to an electrofusion pad, which is then inserted in to the mould of an electrofusion saddle type fitting. Wire laying starts at the first terminal position and lays wire at double the required pitch. The tool then rotates 180 degrees and then lays wire in the opposite direction to the second terminal.
