Composite Pin Insulator is a type of high‑voltage insulator widely used in electrical transmission and distribution systems. What Is a ?
Composite pin insulators are composed of a fiberglass‑reinforced plastic (FRP) core, a durable silicone rubber housing, and metal end fittings. This construction ensures excellent electrical insulation and mechanical performance while offering the benefits of long‑term outdoor reliability and resistance to contamination and weathering.
Design and Construction
FRP Core: Provides high tensile and bending strength to support conductor loads and resist mechanical stresses.
