1. Overview

Mono Propylene Glycol (MPG), also known as1,2-Propanediol(C₃H₈O₂), is a versatile, colorless, odorless, and slightly viscous liquid widely used in industrial, pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic applications. It is a non-toxic, biodegradable diol with excellent solubility in water, alcohol, and many organic solvents.
