Methyltrichlorosilane
Methyltrichlorosilaneis an organic compound mainly used to manufacture silicone compounds, fumed silica, silicon carbide substrate epitaxial wafer growth, silicon carbide nano-coatings, and high-performance silicon carbide ceramic-based composite materials.
Application
(1) As a raw material for methyl polysiloxane resin
Through polymerization with trimethylchlorosilane or hexamethyldisiloxane, a colorless or light yellow liquid with a certain solid content is formed in an organic solvent, which is used for bonding mica products.
(2) Dispersant WA
Surface functionalization preparation, suitable for fabrics and mesoporous materials to increase their hydrophobicity.
(3) As a raw material for the production of silicone glue crosslinking agent
Esterification reaction with methanol to produce methyltrimethoxysilane, esterification reaction with ethanol to produce methyltriethoxysilane or polymethyltriethoxysilane (3# waterproofing agent), reaction with butanone oxime to produce methyltributylanoxime silane, reaction with acetic acid to produce methyltriacetoxysilane, etc.
(4) As a raw material for methylsilicic acid
Through hydrolysis reaction with water, controlling the reaction temperature and speed, white solid particles of methylsilicic acid with a certain solid content are produced, which are used to produce waterproofing agents.
(5) Silicon carbide
Silicon carbide substrate epitaxial wafer growth, silicon carbide nano-coating, high-performance silicon carbide ceramic-based composite materials
(6) As a raw material for the production of fumed silica
High-temperature hydrolysis in a hydrogen flame forms amorphous silicon dioxide particles with a certain specific surface area, which is what we usually call fumed silica.
Packaging and Storage
Three types of packaging:
Package 1: 200Kg (iron drum/plastic drum);
Package 2: 25Kg (iron drum);
Package 3: tank truck (T22-TANK tank container);
Store at 25°C or below in the original unopened container; the shelf life of this product is one year from the date of production. Expired products can only be used after passing the test.
