VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) in Hiconics
As one of the VFD manufacturerin china, Hiconics owns lots of types of variable frequency drive, such as medium voltage VFDs, low voltage VFDs, water cooling MV Drive, permanent magnet MV Drive. The power range of Hiconics' VFD is from 250kW to 30000kW. According to the cabinet type, Hiconics' VFDs can be divided into five types:

VFD Working Principle
Hiconics VFD is a power control equipment which adopts microelectronics technology and frequency conversion technology to change the working power frequency of motor for controlling AC motor.
VFD includes rectifier (AC to DC), inverter (DC to AC), filter, braking unit, driving unit, detection unit, microprocessor unit, etc. For saving energy and adjusting speed, VFD adjusts the frequency and voltage of the output power supply by switching off the internal IGBT, and provides the required power supply voltage on the basis of the actual needs of the motor.
How Can VFD be Applied In Different Industries?
VFD device has lots of applications In electrical industry. First, it can be applied in transforming fans for power plant to save energy. Besides, it can use the medium voltage variable frequency speed regulation system to transform pumps and other equipment in the Thermal Power Plant to save energy and reduce consumption.
