Bauer Vapor 2X Team Griptac Senior Hockey Stick
Brand new for the 2019-2020 season is Bauer’s latest addition to their Vapor stick line, with the introduction of the Bauer Vapor 2X Team Senior Ice Hockey Stick. The Vapor line has been designed around giving players the quickest release possible on their shots, and the 2X Team Stick is no different.
The Vapor 2X Team Stick is constructed of UD carbon fibers that give the stick a lightweight and durable feel. Furthering the durability is the R2 Resin System on the interior of the stick that further increases durability against impacts and flexing of the stick. This will help maintain that “pop” feel of a brand-new stick.
The Vapor 2X Team Hockey Stick features an ultra-low kick point thanks to the addition of the brand-new XE Elliptical Taper. Found where the Bauer logo is, this new taper is narrower and oval shaped. This new design helps stabilize the lower portion of the shaft, as well as the blade, during hard wrist shots, helping improve accuracy and control during shooting. This design also reduces the overall weight of the stick.
Moving to the blade, the Vapor 2X Team Hockey Stick utilizes Bauer’s MaxBalance blade construction. This blade has been reinforced in the high-wear areas such as the heel giving the blade improved durability. The optimized carbon fiber layout reduces the weight without sacrificing puck feel during stickhandling and shooting. Additionally, it features an Aerofoam core, wrapped with 3K carbon fiber, offering improved durability, puck control, and puck feel.
Constructed with Bauer’s tried-and-true features, along with a few new ones, like the introduction of the XE Taper, the Bauer Vapor 2X Team Senior Ice Hockey Stick is a great option for players who want a highly durable stick that can get the puck on net as quickly as possible!
