Manufacture Stainless Steel Pipe Base Well Screen for Sand Control
Double Layer Prepacked Sand Control Water Well Screen
which is also called sand control well screens, consist of base pipe, all-welded wedge wire screen and support rod, is used in the oil well, gas well and water wells.
The base pipes screen jackets is constitute of API standard base pipes and the Johnson type well screens as the jackets wrapped outside of the base pipes.
TheDouble layer water well screenis recommended when high collapse resistance is required and when the screens' length generates ahigh longitudinal constraint. The pipe strength allows smaller wrap wires to be used, yielding greater open area.
It can be manufactured using stainless steel grades or API 5CT carbon steel casing. OASIS uses prime pipe, thoroughly cleaned and de-burred after perforating.
Diameters for pipe based screens range from in. 1.5 in. /38 mm to 18 in. /457 mm.

Double layer water well screencombines the hydraulic efficiency of acontinuous slot screen with the strength of apipe. This pipe strength allows smaller wrap wires to be used, yielding greater open area. Longitudinal support rods direct inflow to the nearest pipe perforation. Screen and pipe are welded together to make arugged, reliable unit for deep vertical wells and long, horizontal remediation of supply wells.
Fittings are available to meet most well design and installation requirements.
Features of double layer water well screen
1. For common wells, the base pipe is API casing or tubing (J55, N80, L80,etc.). Sand control filtration jacket and protective shroud are made of high quality stainless steel.
2. For special wells in H2S, CO2 or C1 corrosive environment, the base pipe is anti-corrosion casing or tubing, even is stainless steel tubing. Sand control filtration jacket and protective shroud are made of high quality stainless steel.
3. Have anti-corrosion ability to acid, alkali, or salts.
