Aluminum Clad Steel Wire (ACS)
Aluminum clad steel wire, also known as acs conductor, can be used for ground wire and conductor of overhead power line, and also can be used for electrified railway cable. Acs conductor is a cable product with aluminum - clad steel wire twisted.According to the conductivity of the aluminum-clad steel strand is divided into: 20AC, 23AC, 27AC, 30AC, 33AC, 40AC six groups,the corresponding conductivity of aluminum clad steel wire is 20.3%, 23%, 27%, 30%, 33% and 40% IACS. Aluminium clad steel wire has a relatively large range of size and performance can be adjusted, the advantage in strength is easier to play, good heat resistance, good corrosion resistance and so on.
