RCD5522-12 luffing tower crane is made of lightweight steel structures and other superior materials which have been processed through shot blasting and rust prevention. The mast sections are manufactured by assembling, welding and cutting moulds, which can ensure the excellent interchangeability. Further, connections in the jib are accomplished by pins and high strength bolts, thereby contributing to assembly and disassembly easily. The luffing crane works smoothly without a driver cabin.

Hoisting and slewing operations are controlled by frequency converters that enable continuous speed variation, thereby contributing to ideal hoisting speed and steady performance.
