Tungsten carbide mating ring is the best material to resist heat and fracture in all hard face materials.
1. Tungsten-Cobalt alloy is the alloy which content major of Tungsten Carbide and cobalt as the bonding agent. The anti-friction performance of the cobalt is 15-20 times stronger than the best HSS, and 1-2 times heat spread than HSS, but it is easy to be oxidation, poor anti-corrosive performance in acid medium.
2. Nickel based alloy is the alloy which content major of Tungsten Carbide and nickel as the bonding agent, the intensity only 70-80% of cobalt based tungsten carbide alloy, but its anti-corrosive make a great improvement. It can be used for acid alkali medium.
