Palomar StarLux 500 with 3 Handpieces – LuxR, LuxY, LuxG
The Palomar StarLux 500 is the following model after the StarLux 300. Fundamentally, these laser machines are quite similar. The major difference between the StarLux 300 and StarLux 500 is the built-in Cooling System. The StarLux 500 provides very fast cooling. Only 1 minute after you have plugged in the handpiece, the laser system is cool already. In compare, the StarLux 300 can take more than 5 minutes.
Furthermore, the StarLux 500 can handle the Lux1440 and Lux1540 Non-ablative Fractional Laser Handpieces. The Palomar StarLux 500 Laser System also handles the Lux2940 Ablative Fractional Laser Handpiece which allows for wrinkle treatment and improvement of textural irregularities.
