Finding the Ideal Locations for the Path Lights
Consult a landscape designer or you can decide the layout of the path lights by yourself, but do not forget to make a plan before you start digging holes. Illumination and heights of each path light are the keys. For safety concerns, please make sure the lights are away from the swimming pool or other watering sources.

Assemble the Brass Path Lights
Lose the lens from the stem by unscrewing it and drop the proper bulb into the fixed socket. Install the hat to the stem. Connect the stake to the stem.

Dig Holes and Trenches
A spade-shape shovel is recommended for digging holes for ground spikes and trenches for wire. Do not put wires beside where you are going to dig trenches in case of cutting the wire. After setting up the spikes and wire, backfill the dirt and make sure the ground is sturdy enough.

Wiring
Remove the pre-stripped sleeves from the wire, and use waterproof wire connectors to accommodate the twisted wires.
How to Set Up the Lay out?
It is up to the area you want to light up, a zig-zag layout of the path lights will illuminate the path evenly to avoid over accented or underlit parts. You also will need to check the width of the path to ensure you use the right G4/bin pin bulb to provide efficient illumination.
