Gas Leakage Camera
The infrared camera detectoris an instrumentation tool for gas leakage detection. Gas leak camera also includes many different classifications.
Most of the gases have characteristic absorption peaks in the mid-infrared region, and the concentration of a certain gas can be determined by detecting the absorption of the characteristic absorption peak position. This infrared gas detector has been successfully used for the detection of gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and sulfur hexafluoride.

The gas imaging camerais made by using some metal oxide semiconductor materials, and the conductivity changes with the change of ambient gas composition at a certain temperature. Catalytic combustion gas leak camera selectively detects flammable gas: Gas that can burn can be detected; if it can't burn, the sensor has no response. Of course, there are many exceptions, but in general, the above selectivity is true.
