Product Features:
Standard Bunsen burner with a specified inner diameter (10mm) to provide the test flame.
Mechanism for positioning the Bunsen burner flame relative to the safety helmet or test specimen according to the standard's requirements.
Igniter timing system to control the duration for which the flame is applied to the specimen, with a wide adjustable range (0-999.9 seconds) and a typical setting (10 seconds).
Follow-on timer system to accurately measure the afterflame time (how long the specimen burns with a flame after the Bunsen burner is removed) and afterglow time (how long the specimen continues to glow without a flame), with a specified accuracy ($pm$0.01 seconds).
Flame length measuring device with a scale (50mm length) to ensure the test flame is set to the correct size.
Capability to use specified gases (methane, propane, butane, LPG) as the fuel for the Bunsen burner, as required by the test standard.
Fixture or system to securely mount the safety helmet or a test specimen cut from the helmet for testing.
High degree of automation for the test procedure, from flame application to timing.
