High hardness chromium carbide powder
Chromium carbide (Cr3C2) is a gray powder with metallic luster; rhombohedral crystal system; density of 6.68g/cm3; melting point of 1890℃, boiling point of 3800℃; in high temperature environments (1000~1100℃) it has good abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. It belongs to a kind of metal ceramics. It is a high melting point inorganic material with good abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance in high temperature environment, and nickel-chromium alloy made of cemented carbide particles, using plasma spraying method, can be used as a high-temperature, abrasion-resistant, oxidation-resistant and acid-resistant coatings, which are widely used in aircraft engines and petrochemical machinery and devices, which can greatly improve the life of the machinery. Also commonly used as cemented carbide grain refiner and other wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant components. Cr3C2-based metal ceramics have excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures.
