Ultra-high dimensional accuracy guaranteed titanium carbide round rods
The production process for these round bars is extremely rigorous, from the strict control of titanium carbide powder purity (purity ≥ 99.5%) to the precise regulation of sintering temperature (approximately 1500°C), with each step directly impacting the final performance. The finished product exhibits excellent dimensional stability, with a thermal expansion coefficient of only 6×10⁻⁶/℃ across a temperature range of -50℃ to 300℃, significantly lower than that of metallic materials. This ensures the precision of precision tools under various environmental conditions. It is widely used as wear-resistant inserts in automotive molds, capable of withstanding long-term high-pressure friction without significant wear, thereby extending the service life of the molds. Titanium carbide round bars are high-performance bars produced via powder metallurgy, with titanium carbide as the primary hard phase and cobalt or nickel as the binder phase. Their hardness exceeds HRC85, and their wear resistance far surpasses that of ordinary steels, maintaining stable performance even in high-temperature environments above 500°C. These rods feature extremely high dimensional accuracy, with diameter tolerances as tight as ±0.01mm and surface roughness as low as Ra0.02μm, making them ideal for precision tools, mold cores, and similar applications. When machining difficult-to-cut materials such as stainless steel and titanium alloys, tools made from these rods have a service life 10–20 times longer than high-speed steel tools, significantly enhancing production efficiency.
