A steel pipe made of a single piece of metal and having no seams on its surface is called a seamless steel pipe. According to the production method, the seamless pipe is divided into hot rolled pipe, cold drawn pipe, extruded pipe, etc.
According to the shape of the section, the seamless steel tube is divided into two types: circular shape and special shape. The shaped tube has a plurality of complicated shapes such as a square shape, an elliptical shape, a triangular shape, a hexagonal shape, a melon shape, a star shape, and a winged tube.
Specifications and size
(1) GB3087-82 "Seamless Steel Pipe for Low and Medium Pressure Boilers". Various types of structural steel pipes for boilers, with an outer diameter of 10 to 426 mm. There are 29 kinds of wall thicknesses of 1.5 to 26 mm. However, the outer diameter and wall thickness of the superheated steam pipe, the large boiler pipe, the small boiler pipe and the arch brick pipe of the locomotive boiler are otherwise specified.
(2) GB5310-95 "Seamless Steel Tube for High Pressure Boiler" The hot rolled tube has an outer diameter of 22 to 530 mm and a wall thickness of 20 to 70 mm. The cold drawn (cold rolled) tube has an outer diameter of 10 to 108 mm and a wall thickness of 2.0 to 13.0 mm.
Application
Seamless steel tubes are used in large quantities as pipelines for transporting fluids, such as pipelines for transporting petroleum, natural gas, gas, water and certain solid materials. Compared with solid steel such as round steel, the steel pipe is lighter in weight when it has the same bending and torsional strength. It is an economical section steel and is widely used in the manufacture of structural parts and mechanical parts, such as oil drill pipes, automobile transmission shafts, bicycles. Steel frames and other steel scaffolding used in construction are used to manufacture ring-shaped parts, which can improve the material utilization rate, simplify the manufacturing process, save materials and processing man-hours, and have been widely used in steel pipes.
Packing: Bare/bundles/crates/crate protection at the both sides of tubes or as per customers' requirements .
