Key Performance Indicators
Adhesion & Peel Strength: Provides reliable initial tack and lasting peel resistance; maintains label position during handling, transport, and storage.
Substrate Compatibility: Effective on paper, PET, PP, OPP, and other common label materials.
Temperature & Environmental Resistance:
Cold / Freezer Conditions: Certain rubber-based or acrylic-modified HMPSA formulations retain adhesion at refrigerated (2–8 °C) or frozen (-20 °C) conditions.
Moderate Heat Conditions: Synthetic polymer-based hot melts can maintain tack and peel performance at processing or ambient elevated temperatures (up to 60–70 °C).
Humidity & Moisture Exposure: Selected acrylic or co-polymer blends preserve adhesion under moderate humidity, reducing label lifting or curling.
Processing Properties: Fast-setting, solvent-free, and compatible with automated label production lines.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Many grades comply with FDA indirect food contact regulations, are solvent-free, and contain low VOC levels.
