This standard is the main basis of static strength test of car seat headrest in China.

ECE R17andR21and other Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) regulations: These regulations also contain static strength requirements for car seat headrests and apply to automotive products in the European market. While the details may differ fromGB 11550-2009. the overall requirements are similar.

Us Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (FMVSS) : The US market also has its own static strength requirements for car seat headrests, which are often reflected in the relevant provisions of FMVSS. There may be some differences compared to European and Chinese standards.

Main parameters:

Load capacity: The maximum static load that the tester should be able to withstand. This parameter is usually determined according to the design and requirements of the headrest, and the common load capacity range is500kg or higher.
