Drum Locking Ring
Drum lock ring is a reliable sealing component for open head steel drum, open head plastic drum and fibre drum. The plastic drum locking ringand steel drum locking ring seal the drum lid and drum body by hooping them together. Drum locking rings usually vary in diameter, thickness, cross section design and closing components (drum clamp or drum bolt). Surface of the drum lock ring is galvanized, and it is able to protect contents in drum even under strict storage condtion.
To reach sealing property, the diameter and shape of cross section needs to fit the drum lid perfectly. Drums with bigger volume usually require drum lock ring with thicker thickness. Drum closing ring with bolt could provide stronger sealing force, but need wrench to close or open it. Drum lock ring with clamp is more flexible, and it is more convinient for operating.

The raw material of the drum lever lock ring is high-quality galvanized steel. The width of the galvanized steel band is controlled precisely before bending into a ring. Except for standard diameter and cross section shape, customization on these two parameters are available.

Clamps or drum botl and drum lugs need to be assembled onto rings to make a complete lever lock ring. Welding is the most common method to connect clamps and lugs with drum closing ring. Some of the drum lugs are designed to be plug-in type, which could go across the hole on 55 gallon barrel ring and from a strong connection part.

Bolt type drum lock ring is commonly used on steel drums. Clamp type lock rings are suitable for plastic, fiber, and metal drums. A drum locking ring with bolt is applied when a stronger sealing force is needed, and a drum clamp ring is preferred when convenience is essential.
