Safety clamps are the tools for handling flush joint pipes and drill collars, Safety Clamps type WA-C can accommodate pipe from 3 1/2”(88.9mm) to 15 5/8”(396.9mm) O.D.; Safety Clamps type WA-T can accommodate pipe from 1 1/8”(28.6mm) to 4 1/2”(114.3mm) O.D.; Safety Clamps type MP are also necessary tools for handling drill collars, flush joint pipes and small shoulder pipes range from 2 7/8” to 30 1/2”. They all are designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7K.
