Wave Soldering Machine
SMT Wave soldering is to make the welding surface of plug-in board contact with high-temperature liquid tin directly to achieve the purpose of welding. The high-temperature liquid tin maintains an inclined surface, and a special device makes liquid tin form a wave-like phenomenon, so it is called "wave soldering". Its main material is solder bar.
After the circuit board enters the wave crest welder through the conveyor belt, it passes through some form of the flux-coated device, where the flux is applied to the circuit board by wave crest, foam or spray. Since most flux solders must reach and maintain an activation temperature to ensure complete penetration of the solder joint, the circuit board passes through a preheating zone before entering the crest groove. Preheating after applying the flux can gradually raise the temperature of the PCB and activate the flux, which can also reduce the thermal shock when the assembly enters the wave crest. It can also be used to vaporize any moisture that might be absorbed or dilute the solder's carrier solvent, and if these things are not removed, they will boil over the wave crest and cause the solder to sputter, or steam is left in the solder to form a hollow solder or sand hole.
