Paper absorbance tester
Introduction:
It is an instrument used to determine the surface water absorption of coated paper and cardboard, including corrugated board. It is designed according to the principle of the international general bur method. The instrument adopts the flip type, the operation is simple, convenient, safe and reliable.

Features:
Test vessel or cylinder with a standardized measuring area (100 ± 0.2 cm²) where the water is contained and the sample's surface is exposed.
Clamping mechanism (often a lever or screw type) to firmly secure the paper or board sample against the opening of the test vessel, creating a watertight seal for the defined measuring area.
Flip type design allowing the vessel to be easily inverted for draining the water after the test.
Roller with a specified width (200 ± 0.5 mm) and weight (10 ± 0.5 kg) used to blot excess water from the surface of the sample after the exposure time.
Base or stand to support the test vessel and roller.
Designed to accommodate samples of a certain diameter (125 ± 5 mm recommended for cutting the test specimen).
Durable construction suitable for laboratory use.
Likely includes markings or indicators for the water level in the vessel.
