Flotation process overview
Flotation process is mainly used for the separation of copper, zinc, lead, nickel, gold and other non-ferrous metals, but also can be
used for the coarse and fine selection of ferrous metals and non-metallic. Flotation process is suitable to deal with microns and
microns material, recover microns less than 10 microns.

About Flotation Machine:
Flotation machine is a main device to realize the flotation process. Flotation machine is applicable for the separation of nonferrous
metal and ferrous metals, such as fluorite and talc. The impeller is drived by V-belts, which can bring the centrifugal effect to
form negative pressure.
Materials grinded in the wet-type mill are concocted with the basically single-dissociated minerals into ore pulp of certain
concentration. Then they fully interact with flotation medicament in the agitation tank. After that, they will be conveyed to the
flotation machine for inflation and stirring. Therefore, the mineralization foam layer is formed on the ore pulp surface, and to get
the foam products (fine ore) with the help of a scraper. From the above, it is self-evident that the equipment performance are the
critical ingredient affecting the flotation index.



Floatation machine working principle:
When the floatation machine works, the motor drives the impeller to revolve, so the centrifugal effect and negative pressure are
produced. On one hand, ample air is absorbed and mixed with mineral slurry, on the other hand, the mixed mineral slurry is mingled
with additive, meanwhile, the foams are thinning, the mineral is bounded with foams, and floats up to the surface of mineral slurry
and the mineralized foam is formed. The liquid surface can be adjusted with the height of adjustment flashboard, so that the useful
foams are scraped with squeegee.
