Industrial titanium carbide rods are easy to weld and process
Compared with traditional high-speed steel bars, the cutting speed of hard alloy titanium carbide round bars can be increased by 3 to 5 times, which can significantly shorten the processing time in mass production. Its microstructure is uniform, and the grain size can be controlled below 1μm, ensuring consistent performance in all parts of the bar and avoiding tool failure caused by uneven material. In the mold industry, the cold stamping die inserts made from it have a service life 50 to 100 times that of steel inserts, which can significantly reduce the replacement frequency and production costs. Titanium carbide round rods made of hard alloy have excellent electrical conductivity and can be used to make electrodes for electrical discharge machining. In the electrical discharge forming of precision molds, they can ensure low electrode wear and high processing accuracy. It has excellent fatigue resistance and is not prone to cracking under repeated impact loads, making it suitable for manufacturing tool components with high-frequency vibration. In the field of nuclear energy, due to its outstanding radiation resistance, it is often used as a processing tool for internal parts of nuclear reactors.
