High-density titanium carbide rods have excellent performance
Hard alloy titanium carbide round rods, as a critical material in high-end manufacturing, exhibit exceptional corrosion resistance, demonstrating high stability in damp, acidic, and alkaline environments without rusting or degradation. With a thermal conductivity 15% higher than that of conventional tungsten carbide round rods, they efficiently dissipate heat generated during cutting operations, thereby reducing the risk of tool wear caused by overheating. These round rods possess a bending strength of up to 2500 MPa, combining high hardness with adequate toughness, which effectively prevents fracture under impact loading. In the aerospace industry, precision machining tools fabricated from this material are widely employed in the production of engine components, meeting stringent requirements for high-precision manufacturing. The oxidation resistance of hard alloy titanium carbide round rods can withstand temperatures of up to 800 °C, making them less susceptible to oxidative wear in high-temperature cutting conditions and highly suitable for machining difficult-to-process materials such as high-temperature alloys. When subjected to mirror surface finishing, the material achieves a friction coefficient as low as 0.1, significantly reducing frictional resistance with workpieces and lowering energy consumption during processing. In textile machinery applications, these rods are commonly used to manufacture wear-resistant guide rods, ensuring yarn integrity during high-speed operation and contributing to enhanced textile quality.
