Features of Lug Butterfly Valve

Low opening torque, Radial dynamic balance sealing system is adopted, so that the forces on both sides of the inlet and outlet of the disc are roughly balanced;

Self lubricating bearing to reduce operating torque and avoid locking the valve stem infrequent opening and closing conditions;

Better Seal ring material, seal is made of stainless steel sheet with graphite/carbon fiber/PTFE, etc. More wear-resistant, impact-resistant, reliable, and environmentally friendly than rubber asbestos sheet material;

Packing-combined sealing system, ensure that the maximum leakage of the valve can reach ≤20ppm. The dynamic sealing structure can be used if necessary so that the packing seal is in good condition and the free maintenance period of the packing is extended.

Lug Butterfly Valve Working Principle

Full lug type butterfly valve has two options of fixed seat and floating seat, which can be repaired without leaving the site, which can shorten the repair time and greatly improve the efficiency. Fixed seats are suitable for valves where the medium flows forward, so the seal is only for one direction and the flow direction should be noted when installing. Although the valve seat is fixed, the sealing of the valve flap can still be removed. If the valve has a floating seat, it can be installed in any direction.

Lug Type Butterfly Valve Installationand Commissioning

Wafer lug type butterfly valveshould be stored in a dry, ventilated room, and the valve channel should be blocked at both ends. Long-term storage of the valve should be regularly inspected and cleared of dirt. Special attention should be paid to the cleaning of the sealing surface to prevent damage to the sealing surface.
