Both applications of these crystalline materials used in optical and electronic industries all require the formation of substrates, which require cutting, grinding and polishing.

Our alkaline nano colloidal silica polishing slurrydelivers a good removal rate and damage-free polishing for optical and electronic substrates polishing, such as Lithium Niobate.

Our Colloidal Silica delivers a good removal rate and damage-free polishing.

Our nano Colloidal Silica can reduce friction between polishing pad and Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3)workpiece, and helps to improve surface quality, has significant effect on surface roughness(Ra/Rz).

Alkaline PH as a factor to the colloidal silicato improve the polishing speed, also suitable for the chemical characteristics of Lithium Niobate(LiNbO3).

DETAILS OF LITHIUM NIOBATE CRYSTAL POLISHING SLURRY

Lithium niobate is a ferroelectric with the highest Curie temperature found so far. It is a negative crystal. This mechanism of lithium niobate and lithium tantalate makes them good piezoelectric energy exchangers and optical materials. The optical properties and research of lithium niobate crystals mainly focus on the visible and infrared bands.

Due to the high demand of its application, the surface of lithium niobate wafer often needs to undergo precise machining to obtain good surface characteristics.
