Production of titanium carbide powder by aerosolization process
This powder has good electrical and thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity of 3 × 10⁴S/m, thermal conductivity of 35W/(m-K), can be used to make conductive ceramics, heating elements and so on. After compounding it with copper powder, the composite material made combines high hardness and high electrical conductivity, suitable for making EDM electrodes, and the electrode loss rate is reduced to less than 0.1%. The particle size distribution of the powder is narrow, and the ratio of D50 to D90 is less than 1.5, which ensures the uniform density of the moulding blank and reduces the deformation after sintering. In the field of electronic encapsulation, it can be used to prepare high thermal conductivity encapsulation materials to solve the heat dissipation problem of chips.
