ASTM C241-90: Standard published by the American Society for Materials and Testing （ASTM）， Test method for Abrasion Resistance to Stone Subjected to Foot Traffic.
Main parameters:
Disk size: usually φ254×15mm （diameter 254mm, thickness 15mm）， which is the basic specification of the disk when wearing resistance test.
Sample size:
Square sample: 50×50±0.5mm, thickness 15-55mm.
Round sample: φ25±0.5mm, height 25-60mm.
Sample load: Usually 2000±50g or 1250±50g, this is the standard load applied to the sample to simulate the pressure in actual use.
Disk rotation speed and sample rotation speed: usually 45±1rpm or 45±2rpm, this is the disk and sample rotation speed, has an important impact on the test results.
Working hardness of the disk: usually greater than HB500, which is the hardness requirement of the disk, to ensure the stability and durability of the disk during the test.
Abrasive flow: Continuously adjustable, usually set to （65±5） g/min or other adjustable range, abrasive flow and distribution also have an impact on the test results.
Rated power consumption: Usually 0.37KW, 380V, 50Hz, which is the rated power and voltage requirements of the equipment.
Revolution control range: usually 0-9999rpm or wider range, used to set and control the number of revolutions during the test.
