109 temperature sensor
Campbell's 109 temperature sensor can be used to measure the temperature of air, soil and water. This type of temperature sensor has a wide range of uses and can be applied to harsh environments. It consists of a thermistor encapsulated in epoxy resin. The outer layer is wrapped with an aluminum casing, so that the sensor can be buried in the soil or can be completely immersed in water. When used to measure air temperature, the probe is usually placed in a 41303-5A type radiation shield, which can prevent sunlight from shining on the sensor to ensure the accuracy of the measurement data. This type of sensor can be applied to all types of data collectors produced by Campbell. Among them, CR200 series data collector has a special instruction for 109 temperature sensor.
