The Automatic Drum Leak Testeris the essential, non-negotiable quality gatekeeper in any steel drum production line manufacturing UN-certified or liquid-holding containers. It performs a definitive, non-destructive test to verify the hermetic integrity of the drum's double seams, welds, and closures. By accurately identifying even the most minor leaks with 100% consistency, it prevents costly product loss, eliminates safety hazards, protects your brand reputation, and ensures compliance with the most stringent international packaging standards. It is the final verification point for all sealed steel drums, especially those destined for hazardous chemicals, fuels, oils, and food products.
The ANTEautomatic drum leakage testing machine uses air pressure decay technology to inspect the sealing integrity of standard 200L and 210L tight-head steel drums.The steeldrum leak tester can be integrated into a new steel drum production line or customized to match an existing conveyor, line speed and rejection process.
This leak detector for steel drums is suitable for:

The steeldrum leak tester employs the reliable and precise Air Pressure Decay method, fully automated for seamless line integration.
Core Structure: The system consists of a robust steel frame, a test station with a pneumatic sealing head (or a chamber), a high-precision pressure sensor, solenoid valves, a pneumatic power unit, and a PLC-based control cabinet with a clear HMI.
Control Logic: The PLC manages the entire test cycle. It controls the sealing head, pressurizes the drum, isolates it, monitors pressure stability via the sensor, compares the reading against set tolerances, and triggers the pass/fail action—all automatically based on pre-programmed parameters.
Process Position: This is the final inspection station, placed at the end of the production line after the drum seaming operation and before packing or palletizing.
