The servo-driven drum transfer conveyoris designed for indexed transportation of steel drum bodies between machines in an automated drum production line.
This conveyor can be integrated with drum body forming, reinforcement, flanging, seaming and leakage testing equipment. Conveyor length, drum spacing, feeding direction and control sequence are configured according to the customer’s production line.

What the Servo Drum Transfer Conveyor Does
A steel drum body production line normally contains several machines that operate in individual cycles. These may include rolling, welding, beading, corrugation, flanging, seaming and leak testing equipment.
The conveyor transfers the drum body from one station to the next while coordinating its movement with the processing cycle.
Its main functions include:
♦ Receiving a drum body from the upstream machine
♦ Maintaining controlled spacing between consecutive drums
♦ Moving the drum toward the next production station
♦ Stopping the drum at the required processing position
♦ Waiting for the downstream machine to complete its cycle
♦ Restarting the transfer after receiving the next operating signal
♦ Supporting continuous coordination of multiple drum-making machines
