Temperature requirements

2. Humidity control
The relative humidity of the storage environment should be maintained at a low level, generally not exceeding 60%. High humidity environments can easily cause natamycin to absorb moisture from the air, leading to caking or deliquescence, which in turn affects its physical properties and application effects. Therefore, storage sites should be equipped with effective dehumidification devices, such as dehumidifiers and desiccants, to maintain a dry environment.

Natamycin is relatively sensitive to light. Light exposure may trigger its photochemical reaction, leading to reduced activity or even failure.
